I love eating snacks throughout the day, so I’m always looking for ways to prepare healthy snacks. This Crispy Kale Chips recipe is easy to make. It is a delicious and healthy snack to make at home.

Choosing the Kale

There are different varieties of kales. The most common ones are Curly Kale, Red Russian Kale, and Tuscan kale. Based on my research Tuscan Kale is the least bitter out of these three. I particularly like the curly kale, and I found a way to reduce the bitter taste.

Kale is a superfood rich in fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, including Vitamin A, K, B6, potassium, and calcium.

Can I store Kale chips?

Kale chips are better to eat fresh from the oven. If I make too much, I’ll wait until it’s cooled down after baking before placing them in an airtight container for a max of two days. Also, make sure the Kale is entirely dehydrated to avoid sogginess.

  • 3 medium garlic cloves minced
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil

How do I make these crispy Kale Chips?

Wash the Kale well and let it drain to dry as much as possible.

Mince the garlic. Add the garlic, olive oil, and salt into a bowl.

Cut the stems from the leaves with clean scissors.

Mix the kale well with the dressing. Place the Kale on a baking pan. Preheat the oven to 300°F. Let it bake for 20-25 minutes or until it turns crispy.
