Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique that may promote relaxation, reduce stress, balance energy in the body, and promote harmony and well-being (body, mind, and soul).

Reiki came into my life a few years back during a period of numerous challenges in my personal life. Surprisingly, the word “Reiki” started to appear everywhere! Consequently, I enrolled in a Reiki course, which transformed my life.

In the Reiki level one course, we started applying Reiki to ourselves, and I noticed an improvement in my well-being and increased energy after balancing my chakras. Motivated by these positive changes, I decided to pursue subsequent courses, allowing me to share this beautiful holistic technique with others.

What does Reiki mean?

The term “Reiki” (universal life force energy) originates from the Japanese words ‘rei,” meaning universal, and “ki” life force energy.

What is Usui Reiki?

Usui Reiki is a holistic technique developed in Japan by Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. Reiki aims to promote balance and well-being through channeling universal life force energy.

What are the benefits of Reiki?

Reiki has many benefits, which may include:

  • Promote relaxation
  • Balance the chakras
  • Reduce stress
  • Support the body’s natural healing process
  • Increase energy levels
  • Restore harmony
  • Emotional well-being

Individual responses to Reiki may vary in each session. Reiki is a complementary, holistic practice and does not substitute for conventional medical care.

What to expect in an in-person Reiki Session?

A Reiki session typically involves a practitioner placing their hands lightly or near the recipient’s body fully dressed, allowing the flow of healing energy.

What is Distance Reiki?

A distance Reiki Session offers the possibility of receiving this healing energy anywhere in the world, all in the comfort of your home.

How do you prepare for a distance Reiki Session?

  • We will coordinate a date and time. It’s important to choose a time when you can relax during and after the session.
  • On the day of the session, find a quiet place where you can preferably lie down and relax for about 35-45 minutes without interruptions.
  • You can choose instrumental music to help you relax during the 35-45-minute session.
  • It’s important to mention your intention to focus the session on it.
  • Some people may feel thirsty after the session, so having a glass of water nearby is good.
  • Let the energy flow, relax, and enjoy the session.
  • I will call you a few minutes after the session.
