Easy to make Granola recipe

There is nothing better than having fresh homemade granola at home. This easy-to-make fall season granola recipe is so delicious. It combines delicious spices and ingredients.

I love granola because of its versatility. I can add it to my cereal in the morning, my yogurt mid-day, or just as a snack.

For me, this is a time saver. There have been so many times that I’ve been in a rush and had no time to prepare breakfast, so I get a bowl, add yogurt, and top it with my granola, and it keeps me going until my next snack or meal. I say snack because I eat snacks all day, so finding healthy recipes is a must.

The beauty of this dish is that you can adapt it to your taste and needs. It is packed with nutrients and super easy to make. It is easy to make in advance, so you have it ready when needed. I like fresh granola, so I make a small batch and eat it within two weeks.

Because each seed contains its own benefits, you can adapt it to your own needs. But granola is usually filled with proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Like any other food for me, eating in moderation is always the key to a balanced diet.

  • Baking pan
  • Baking mat

Ingredients

How to make this Granola?

Add the oats, Pecans, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and walnuts into a mixing bowl. Add the cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract.

Pour the honey and mix well.

Spread the mix on a baking mat and bake for 20-25 minutes at 350°F.

Add the dry fruit at the end.

Useful Tips

  1. Pack your granola in airtight food storage to keep it fresh. I keep my granola in a glass container jar.
  2. Always add the dry fruits after the seeds are cooked. If you add them to the oven, it will overdry the fruit.
  3. I like my recipe without oil, but you can add 1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil before baking for more moisture.
  4. Before adding the honey to the mix, warm it up in a saucepan, so it gets softer. This will make it easier to mix well with the seeds.
